General information

Wagers

It is possible to wager at Le Centaure. We have booths set up in different areas of the restaurant to make it easy to place a bet at any time. The minimum bet is 2$. Wage tickets can be purchased before the event and distributed to your guests so they can place a bet.

Proceedings

Our coordinator will mail you a confirmation. It must be signed and returned with a deposit. This will confirm the date, general details of your reservation as well as an approximate amount of guests. The signed confirmation must be received 3 weeks prior to the event. The day of the event, one bill is handed to the responsible person and will be payable in cash, by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) or by company check. No personal check will be accepted.

Deposit

A minimal deposit of 20% of the total amount (200.00$ minimum) is required with the reservation (cash, credit card or company check). This amount will be deducted from the final payment due on the day of the event. In case of cancellation this deposit will not be refunded and will pay for the administrative work encountered.

Confirmation of the number of guests

The number of people will have to be confirmed SEVEN (7) DAYS before the event, and will be noted in the confirmation. You will be billed for the confirmed amount, or if higher, for the actual number of meals served. If no confirmation is received, l'Hippodrome de Montréal will prepare and bill the amount of meals mentioned in the original contract.

Gratuity

One gratuity will be offer to all groups of 20 or more.

Space rentals

At the Centaure you can now mix business with pleasure. We have room available for meetings, conventions, product launching, and conferences. We can offer you a vast array of room and services, just give us a call and discuss the possibilities with the coordinator or click here.
